North Miami Mayor Andre D. Pierre, the North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and The Haitian Lawyers Association, Inc. are hosting a FREE Temporary Protected Status (TPS) Application Drive for qualifying Haitian Nationals that live in the City of North Miami.

Date: Saturday, January 30, 2010
Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Griffing Adult Center, 12220 Griffing Blvd North Miami, Florida

Haitian Lawyers Association members and volunteers will be available to help eligible Haitian Nationals seeking TPS to complete the required applications. To be granted TPS, the following requirements must be met:Be a national of Haiti- Arrived into the United States on or before January 12,10- Have continuously resided in the U.S. since arrival – Have not been convicted of any felony or two or more misdemeanors in the United States.
